SUDBURY Motor Cycle Club's Stephen Green has become their most successful grass track rider in more than half a century after winning the ACU Eastern 500cc Upright Grass Track Championship for a third time.
Green, who is from Great Cornard, completed his third Eastern title at Iken near Woodbridge, a week after he claimed the ACU South Eastern 500cc Upright Grass Track Championship.
Previous to that he had become the British 500cc Upright Grass Track champion, meaning he has become Sudbury Motor Cycle Club’s most successful grass track rider since Tom Smith in the early 1960s.
