Ayling wins the monthly event at Colne Valley
Gary Ayling was triumphant in the men’s monthly stableford at Colne Valley Golf Club.
He won with 35 points from Andrew Carter in second with 32 points and Paul Davies in third with 30.
The ladies have played two stableford competitions recently, with the first producing a win for Corinne Burnford with 35 points.
Ruth Eyre-Pugh was second with 31 points and Wendy Cook third with 29 points.
The second event’s winner was Charley Hatley with 29 points, from Sue Petchey and Wendy Cook, who both had 27 points.
