Halstead Daj Chai Thai Boxing’s Ben Penny kept his run of knockout victories going with a win in the Warriors Collide show at Herne Bay in Kent.

The super middle weight K1 bout saw Penny facing Mani Johal of Fight City Gym in London.

From the first bell, Penny put on the pressure, knocking his opponent back with strong right hands and body shots and making contact with a number of crippling leg kicks that were clearly hurting Johal.

Penny continued his high work rate into the second round and his opponent was given a standing eight count.

It was unclear whether the London man would come out for the third round and while he did emerge, Penny again put the pressure on and a clean right cross to Johal’s head saw him fall to the canvas unable to make the count.

It means Penny has won his last four fights by knockout and it has been confirmed that he will now be fighting for the ISKA Southern Area title in April.
