Nice trots to festive turkey success at Colne Valley Golf Club
Still in the festive mood at Colne Valley Golf Club the seniors’ Turkey Trot attracted a large field but the eventual winner was Keith Nice with an excellent 38 points.
He was followed in second place by Dickie Bird with 35 points on countback from Christopher Amor.
The ladies held their annual nine-hole Gammon and Glitz Christmas competition, which was won by Celia Larkham with 17 points from Ruth Eyre-Pugh in second with 16 and Ruth Finch third with 15 points The fourth round of the Winter League produced a convincing win for Alan Beattie and Matthew Butler with 43 points.
Second place went to Gary Beck and Martin Rackley with 37 points on countback from Russell Bell and Michael Cousins.
