Lord drives in as new seniors captain at the Essex
The Essex Golf and Country Club’s seniors welcomed their new captain David Lord in with the traditional drive-in ceremony.
They bidded farewell to retiring captain Norman Stechman in a putt-out.
It was followed by an Essex Scramble competition and the winners, with 148 points, were Will Salmon, Mike Francis and Roger Farson. Nearest the pin on the 140 yard 11th hole was Rob Chisholm.
