Frasier Hughes was one of a number of Halstead boxers who impressed at the sparring session at Attleborough.
Halstead Amateur Boxing Club visited Attleborough Boxing Club in Norfolk to take part in an inter-club sparring session which involved over 30 other boxing clubs from all over the country.
There were six Halstead boxers taking part – seniors Joe Bonito (92kg), Jason Bradley (76kg) and James Blore (70kg) as well as junior Zak Lawson (62kg).
Schoolboys Mitch Lawson (55kg) and Frasier Hughes (36kg) were also involved and had two bouts on the day.
Head Coach George Cook said: “I was very impressed by all of the six boxers’ performances.
“They all focused well and showed good skills and remarkable talent.
“They worked hard in every department of their chosen sport.”
