Halstead Town are celebrating two pieces of good news ahead of their Thurlow Nunn League division one game against Swaffham Town.
Not only has the Rosemary Lane pitch passed an early morning inspection so that the game can go ahead, but the Humbugs have announced that Reis Farley-Hearn has rejoined the club.
The striker scored 40 goals in 56 starts for Halstead during an earlier spell with the club and has come back after a time at Braintree Town Reserves.
