Halstead's Tom Porter completed his first trail marathon at the Orwell Challenge
HALSTEAD Road Runners' Tom Porter ran his first trail marathon when he tackled the Orwell Challenge.
Porter completed his debut event in three hours 39 minutes.
Meanwhile, Sam Wolton travelled down to Devon for the Hope 24-hour race and managed to cover 50 miles in 23 hours 40 minutes.
Nicole Smith did the Hampshire Hoppit trail half marathon in two hours 16 minutes.
The course included 1,000 feet of ascent and some stunning views.
