Braintree Town midfielder Dan Walker has joined the Iron's Vanarama Conference Premier rivals Eastleigh on loan.
Chances have been limited so far this season for Walker since he arrived permanently at the Miles Smith Stadium last summer and Eastleigh have said he will stay with them for the rest of the season.
Walker, who has previously been at clubs including Luton Town and Cambridge United, came to Braintree in July after a year spent at Hereford, however, he has only had 13 starts and eight substitute appearances for the Iron this year.
His last start came at the beginning on November, with his last action coming as a late substitute in Braintree's FA Trophy third round tie against Ebbsfleet on Tuesday.
Eastleigh are currently seventh in the Vanarama Conference Premier table, while Braintree sit 16th.
