Colchester and East Essex captain Ben Stephens is unlikely to change a winning team ahead of his side’s trip to play Woodford Wells tomorrow.
The Castle Park side head to Monkhams Lane sitting pretty at the top of Shepherd Neame Essex League division one, having lost only one of their first six league games.
Colchester will once again be without prolific opener Julian Russell, who missed last weekend’s four-wicket triumph over Harlow.
But Stephens says that gives other players in the squad the chance to step up and take their opportunity.
He said: “The team picks itself for this weekend."
