A GARDEN centre has donated £100 to a sheltered housing complex as part of a fundraising initiative .
Riverside Nursery, in Lower Road, Hockley, donated a £100 gift voucher to the residents of St Luke’s Place run by Genesis Housing Association in Rochford.
The voucher is to be put towards their gardens in anticipation of the Havens Hospices’ Open Gardens event on Sunday, July 2.
St Luke’s Place is joining six other beautiful gardens in Rochford, Hockley, Ashingdon and Hawkwell that will be open to the public in aid of Havens Hospice, which supports people with life-limiting illnesses.
Tickets to visit the gardens are £5 per person.
