CHANGES are set to be made to the conditions of a 1,000 home development in Wycke Hill, Maldon.
The development, which was approved by Maldon District Council in December, as part of their Local Development Plan, will see 1,000 homes built on land off Wycke Hill and Limebrook Way.
An application to make changes to one of the development’s conditions has been made, and is expected to be approved by the Council this evening.
The change will see the number of one bed flats in the development reduced by more than 75 per cent, with more two bed properties being built in their place.
It will also increase the number of four or more bed homes on the site, with less three bed properties being built to make way for the larger homes.
The alterations to the type of property built will have no effect on the amount of affordable housing the site will deliver.
