ANGRY residents have called for immediate action over an eye-sore site which was gutted by a fire two years ago.
A protest party was held outside 20 Market Street on Sunday to mark the second anniversary of the blaze which ravaged a top floor flat.
Harwich Residents Association urged people to sign a petition calling for action by Tendring Council.
Carlo Guglielmi, Tendring Council planning boss, said: “This building remains an eyesore in the town’s Conservation Area and is having a negative impact on that area – that is not acceptable to anyone."
