Halstead: Danger road not included in new community speedwatch

Hedingham Road is renowned for the number of accidents along a short two-mile stretch
Police and residents are teaming up to make sure speeding drivers slow down on Halstead’s danger roads.
A community speedwatch programme will soon be launched, with five new sites in the town earmarked.
But volunteers will not be able to patrol a notorious accident blackspot on Hedingham Road, between Halstead and Sible Hedingham, because the speed limit along the road is too fast.
