Air ambulance called to construction site after man falls from ladder
A MAN has been taken to hospital after falling from a ladder on a construction site.
Ambulance crews and an air ambulance were called to the Bellway Homes development, on Colchester Road Halstead at 2.25pm today.
The man has been taken to Colchester General Hospital for further care.
An ambulance spokesman said: "The ambulance service were called at 2.25pm to reports that a man had from a ladder on a site on Colchester Road, Halstead.
"Ambulance crews, a rapid response unit and air ambulance were dispatched to the scene.
"A man, believed to be in his 30s, was treated at the scene.
"The patient was taken to Colchester General Hospital for further care."
