FIRE Services were called to an arson attack in a block of Halstead flats last night.
Firefighters were called to Trinity Court just before 11pm, but the fire was already out, so crews ventilated the property.
The fire was started in a laundry room, and the incident has been recorded as deliberate.
An Essex Fire statement read: “The fire service was called to Trinity Court, Halstead at 22:51hrs on Tuesday 1 November, to reports of a fire in a laundry room. Two fire engines from Halstead attended the incident.
“The fire was already out when crews arrived, so crews ventilated the property and left the incident by 23:42hrs. The cause of the fire has been recorded as deliberate”.
