Street light petition attracts a lot of support
A mother is impressed by the amount of support a petition to keep the streetlights on has attracted.
A group of three mums, Helen Sherfield, Cherry McKean, Corrine Wooldridge, together with grandmother Janice Carter, who all know each other from the Earls Colne Primary School playground, started the petition in May this year.
Housewife and mum-of-two Ms Sherfield said: “We have collected about 470 signatures.
“I wasn’t sure how many signatures we would get but it’s been good to see this level of support for the petition.”
