Watchdog inspectors are still concerned about the welfare of residents at a care home after a second observation showed people were continuing to be at risk.
Inspectors for the Care Quality Commission (CQC) ruled that Attwoods Manor, in Braintree Road, required action to be taken over the care and welfare of the people who use the service and the handling of residents’ records.
They carried out a routine inspection in July after a previous observation in May found that staff undertook unsafe medicine management and ordered them to improve immediately with regards to the care and welfare of residents.
The latest inspection report said that the care home has not improved enough and must show how they will do better by this month.
