Halstead: Youngsters win kwik cricket final
A group of pupils are leaving their school on a sporting high this year after winning the district final of a cricket competition.
Ten Year 6 pupils from St Peter's C of E Primary School in Sible Hedingham went head to head with six other primary schools in Essex at Asda Kwik Cricket district final.
They won the mixed event, which was held at Halstead Cricket Club last Tuesday.
Lyons Hall Primary School in Braintree came second, while St. Andrew's Junior School in Hatfield Peverel came third.
