A mother is disappointed at the cost of travel for her daughter who is volunteering at this summer’s Olympics.
Emily Bulleid, 16, of Crofters Walk, Great Notley, will be volunteering at the Olympic Park for four days during August.
And although Emily is excited at the prospect of rubbing shoulders with the likes of Usain Bolt at big events, her mum is disappointed that travel arrangements have not been better.
Volunteers benefit from free travel within London during the Games, but no such arrangements are in place when they are required to travel to training events.
