A U-turn could by in the pipeline for a controversial pylon plan.
Today National Grid announced it would be “revising its approach to undergrounding” cables following months of fierce opposition against the proposal for pylons across the Essex/Suffolk border.
National Grid wants to put 18 miles of pylons between Bramford, near Ipswich, and Twinstead.
The company has launched another public consultation, which will run until March 16, despite having already run one from October 2009 until mid February this year.
