Police are urging motorists to belt up.
Officers recently spent five hours in The Street, Gosfield, carrying out safety checks.
During this time, they stopped 32 people for failing to wear a seatbelt.
They also caught 12 people using their mobile phones while driving.
Five drivers were stopped for breaking the speed limit and two for number plate offences.
