X Factor champion Matt Cardle is struggling to come to terms with his triumph on the ITV talent show.
The thrilled 27-year-old from Little Maplestead has told his parents it will probably take a year for the reality to sink in.
On his X Factor video diary, Matt said yesterday: “I feel so lucky, honoured and privileged for the people who supported and voted for me.”
Matt said his world had been “turned upside down and inside out” and the success meant “everything” to him.
