After a sleepless night, excited pupils found out how well they did in their A levels.
Hedingham School pupils nervously gathered in the foyer to pick up the envelopes containing their results on Thursday.
The overall pass rate was 91 per cent, which is four per cent lower than last year.
Fifty two per cent of grades were A* to C, while 31 per cent were A*, A or B.
A number of pupils achieved outstanding results.
Sarah-Jane Legge of Belchamp St Paul achieved three A grades and will be reading French and German at Oxford University.
