Three men and two boys are on bail after having been arrested on suspicion of hare coursing.
A Sible Hedingham landowner alerted police to the alleged incident shortly after midday on March 7.
Two men from Basildon aged 31 and 37, a 27-year-old and 16-year-old from Grays, along a 14-year-old from Wickford were all arrested on the same day.
They have been released on bail to return to the Braintree station on April 29.
