First up, is an event for budding artists on August 14.

The Paint Brush ‘n’ Bubbles day features a calm and creative morning in the castle, painting a waterfall scene.

No experience is needed as the session is led by artists Anna and Charis who will take people through the painting step by step.

A spokesman described it as “the perfect opportunity to unleash your creativity - you might just be surprised by the results".

The event is priced at £42 per person, with all equipment and materials provided, as well as tea and coffee on arrival and the finished canvas to take home to impress family and friends.

After the session, people can stay and explore the castle and its grounds.

The event is from 10am to 12.30pm on Sunday, August 14.

“Will young lovers Claudio and Hero fall foul of the crafty criminal?

"Will bickering Benedick and Beatrice ever admit that they actually like each other? Find out in this fast-paced, physical and funny new production.”

The café and bar will be open at the castle on the evening, and picnics are welcome.

The show is on Tuesday, August 16, with gates open from 6pm for the performance which starts at 7pm.
