YOUNG flying enthusiasts could get the chance to follow their dream.
The Halstead-based 1163 Colne Valley Squadron says budding pilots could get their wings as they prepare to hold a recruitment event in the town this month.
Youngsters will be able to find out everything they need to know at the event and may also be able to sign up and join the cadets.
The event is being held on Monday, September 20, at the Courtaulds Sports Field in Colchester Road, Halstead, starting at 7.30pm.
The cadets offer experiences, including flying and gliding lessons, training and education, shooting, Duke of Edinburgh experiences and other training and activities. For more information, go to www.1163atc.org.
