A building society will be hosting special sessions to give people important advice about private pensions.
Saffron Building Society, which has branches in Halstead, Great Dunmow and Saffron Walden, is offering specialist advice as stats suggest a third of workers do not have a private pension.
Those attending the Pension Awareness sessions will be guided through the new changes in pension law and what impact they have had.
They will also have an opportunity to review any current private pension and look at new options if they don’t have one already.
Sarah Howe, Chief Customer Officer at Saffron Building Society said: "This March, we want to raise awareness for pension planning and we invite people to book an appointment with a specialist adviser.
"Times are changing and it’s important that everyone looks at their desired standards of living and how they can be achieved once retirement is reached."
Appointments are free and can be booked by calling 0800 072 1100.
