School pupils have been enjoying the snow after making it into school today.
Maldon Court Preparatory School was open to pupils on Wednesday despite the heavy snowfall.
All other schools across Maldon and Burnham were closed.
Children at Maldon Court, in Silver Street, enjoyed making snowmen.
Staff and pupils are also set to enjoy a roast dinner together at lunchtime.
A spokesman for the school said: "We are fully operational for those who managed to get into school today.
"The children had a great morning having a snowman building competition.
"All staff were able to make it into school and we are looking forward to a roast dinner all together at lunchtime."
