PC James Draper and PC Joe Whitehead from Braintree Community Policing Team helped to search for an elderly man with Alzheimer's Disease who was missing from his home in Halstead.
With the help of neighbours, James and Joe helped locate the man after 30 minutes searching yesterday.
He was found safely and his wife thanked the pair for their work.
Joe said: βItβs a nice part of my job getting to see people reunited and ensuring vulnerable people are home, safe and well is a rewarding experience.β
