A SEX offender may be hiding out in Essex.
Tarsem Najjar Singh is wanted on suspicion of a number of offences in Devon.
He has been named as on of nation's most wanted by Crimestoppers.
A spokesman for the crime charity said: "Police in the Devon and Cornwall area are seeking 56-year-old man Tarsem Najjar Singh who is wanted for failing to comply with sex offender registration requirements and immigration offences.
"He has failed to register a new address and has absconded from immigration services.
"A location of this male is sought to enable police and immigration services to take appropriate action for the offences he is wanted for, but also to ensure he is risk managed appropriately.
"Devon and Cornwall police are continuing to progress a number of lines of enquiry to ascertain Singh’s current location. "It is suspected that he may return to the London area where it is believed he lived for a number of years.
"Police intend to arrest Singh once he has been located.
"He has links to Slough and Essex.
"Singh is not known to be violent and has a tribal tattoo on his right hand."
He is slim with grey hair and a beard and described as of "Asian" appearance.
