Halstead’s high street was given a make-over when shops entered the nursery rhyme inspired shop display competition.
There were 18 entries to the Chamber of Trade’s annual event.
This year’s theme was nursery rhymes and there were two categories - floral window display and external window display.
The outoor competition was judged on the flowers and how well they fitted the theme.
Three gold awards were handed out to Fleur de Lys, Hume’s Bakery, and Sunflowers, all in the High Street.
Chamber of Trade chairman Anne-Maree Robertson said: “The exhibits were extremely high quality this year and it was very difficult to chose.
“They were all of a very high standard.”
An overall winner will be chosen at the chamber’s meeting in August.
