The brother of a girl whose life was saved after an eye test is running the London Marathon to raise funds for a child cancer charity.
Keira Dixon, 17, was diagnosed with a brain tumour in February last year after an eye examination showed worrying signs.
She was transferred to the intensive care ward at Great Ormond Street Hospital and within five days underwent life-saving surgery.
Her brother Jamie Dixon, 23, is running the marathon for Clic Sargeant as part of the Keira Campaign.
This aims to raise money and awareness.
Jamie said: “I am nervous but also excited."
