After a decade in the making, trustees have unveiled plans for Halstead's new community hall, which they believe the town will be proud of.
Detailed graphics and maps of the community centre, earmarked for Butler Road, were displayed in Halstead Library on Friday and Saturday.
Residents from across the town were encouraged to view the plans and give their feedback.
The proposals, initially costed at between £2.5 million and £2.7 million, are only a suggestion and could change depending on the feedback given during the two-day consultation.
