Staff at a travel company are sharing Santa’s load by collecting presents for poorly and disadvantaged children.
Sarah Colson, manager of Premier Travel in High Street, Halstead, and her colleagues are counting on generous shoppers to donate toys for youngsters, including those spending Christmas at Colchester General Hospital.
It is the second year the company have taken on the challenge and they hope to match last year’s total of 100 toys to give away.
Mrs Colson will make the special delivery on December 22, dressed as a festive reindeer.
She said: “Last year we did extremely well and I am hoping we can do the same this time.
“As Christmas is such a special time of the year - particularly for children - we wanted to contribute and help make the day extra special for those less fortunate.
“Any contributions will be greatly received and much appreciated."
To donate, drop your toys in to Premier Travel, 63 High Street, Halstead, before December 20.
Toys must be brand new, can be for any age group and must not be wrapped in Christmas paper.
