Former Saturday Kitchen host James Martin made his debut as a guest host on This Morning โ but it seems too many chefs may spoil the broth.
James helped fellow chef Phil Vickery answer viewersโ questions, instructing them how to chop mushrooms, make carbonara and keep Yorkshire puddings fluffy, before resident chef Phil demonstrated how to make a spatchcock roast chicken.
But many viewers thought there was some rivalry in the kitchen.
The pair have worked together before on Ready Steady Cook, with James saying: โThis is really weird, itโs the first time weโve actually worked together for about 12 years.โ
Some thought they were a great teamโฆ
But others enjoyed the competitive cookery.
It wasnโt the only part of the programme where James had to step back and watch โ and viewers caught him with a shocked expression on his face when he met a man who cooks using his car engine.
The โcarbecueโ concept involves wrapping up your dinner and putting it under the bonnet while you drive, but as he was handed a carbecued camembert, James looked as though he would rather stick to traditional cooking.
