Nurnberg remain without a win in the league since September 29 after losing 2-0 to Wolfsburg at the Max-Morlock Stadion.

Daniel Ginczek gave the visitors the lead just before the hour mark with his fifth goal of the season before Josip Brekalo wrapped up victory in injury time.

The home side had the chance to take the lead twice in the second half through Virgil Misidjan, but both efforts went wide of the target.

Moments after Wolfsburg hit the post, Ginczek put them ahead, when a well-weighted Maximilian Arnold pass found the striker who took the ball past the defender and put it past the goalkeeper.

Nurnberg had a late equaliser disallowed when Mikael Ishak found the back of the net only for the goal to be ruled out for offside before Brekalo made the most of a counter-attack, hitting the ball into the bottom corner to seal the away side’s victory.
