Earls Colne finished their season by winning the final of the Tolleshunt D'Arcy Memorial Cup against Tiptree Heath at Stanway Rovers.
Colne, pictured, lifted the cup after a penalty shoot-out victory at The Hawthorns, with keeper Matt Puzey saving Heath's first two spot-kicks to set-up victory.
It was an entertaining game, with chances at either end.
Tiptree struck the woodwork twice in the opening minutes through Arron Collins and Anthony Mills.
Honours were even in the first period, but Colne took the lead on the hour through Gary Davis.
However, Tiptree equalised through Ashley Collins with ten minutes remaining, sending the game into extra-time.
Weary legs fought out the extra 30 minutes, but nothing could separate the sides.
So the final went to penalties and Matt Puzey saved Tiptree's first and second spot-kicks, putting Colne in pole position.
The Blues fired in their first three penalties through Mike Burle, Mel Nice and skipper Glenn Lesiak.
And they clinched victory after Tiptree's fourth attempt sailed over.
