THE outstanding performers in Sky Bet League Two this season were crowned at the 2021 EFL Awards.

The continued efforts and achievements of clubs, players and individuals in the EFL were recognised live on Sky Sports, last night.

Paul Mullin claimed the accolade of Sky Bet League Two Player of the Season.

Mullin’s 29 goals have given Cambridge United one eye on promotion to League One, with just two games remaining.

Peterborough United’s Jonson Clarke-Harris was awarded the Sky Bet League One Player of the Season.

The Posh are on the brink of promotion to the Championship, with his 29 goals leading the division.

Clarke-Harris pipped Sunderland AFC’s Charlie Wyke and Hull City’s George Honeyman to the award.

Norwich City’s Emi Buendia claimed the honour of the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Season award after his all-round contribution helped the Canaries gain promotion back to the Premier League.

Buendia’s 30 goal contributions, including a division-high 16 assists earned him the accolade ahead of team-mate Teemu Pukki, and Brentford’s Ivan Toney.

Elsewhere, Reading’s Michael Olise was named the EA Sports Young Player of the Season, whilst Doncaster Rovers midfielder James Coppinger claimed the prestigious Sir Tom Finney award.

Dean Lewington was honoured with the Screwfix Moment of the Season after making his 800th appearance for MK Dons.

Throughout the night, the best of the EFL were honoured across all three divisions to celebrate excellence on and off the pitch.
