COLCHESTER United's FA Cup conquerors have been handed a plum FA Cup draw at home to Premier League leaders Tottenham Hotspur.

The eighth-tier side will host Jose Mourinho's side in the third round of the competition, following tonight's draw.

Northern Premier League Division One side Marine became only the second side from the eighth tier to reach the third round after beating Havant & Waterlooville after extra-time on Sunday.

They had caused a big upset in the first round of the competition after beating Colchester on penalties last month, at the JobServe Community Stadium.

The U's were beaten 5-3 on penalties as substitute Michael Howard slotted home the all-important spot-kick for the Mariners.

The game went to extra-time and penalties after finishing 1-1 after 120 minutes, with Harry Pell having cancelled out Anthony Miley’s first-half opener for Marine.
