AFTER a successful season in the British Talent Cup and the HEL Performance British Motostar championship, Corey Tinker was selected for the Rookie of the Year award by the world leader in motorcycle damage protection products, R&G a supplier to the Bennetts British Superbike Championship series and open to riders in their first full season in their class.

Corey, who is from Braintree, was delighted to be informed he had made it to the final three riders chosen by a panel of experts and was invited to Motorcycle Live at the NEC in Birmingham where the final placings were announced.

He was awarded third place so it was a great honour for him to appear on stage with winner Korie McGreevy the 2019 National Superstock 600 champion and runner-up, ex Moto GP star Scott Redding, the 2019 British Superbike Champion.

As a reward for his efforts and achievements this year, Corey will receive some product support from R&G in 2020 to assist him with his race costs and he also received a set of tyres from Pirelli and a crash helmet courtesy of LS2 helmets .

Team Tinker Racing are now focusing on setting up their bikes for next year starting with a test in Spain in January with Corey riding his British Talent Cup machine and brother Kyal's first test on his Yamaha R6 600cc machine.
