Another key part of Braintree Town manager Glen Driver's coaching team has been put in place with the addition of goalkeeping coach Trevor Grace.

Joining Driver, assistant boss Tony Kinsella and scout Ian McCormack in the Iron's management team, Grace is looking forward to working with new keeper Michael Johnson (MJ).

Grace said: "I want to thank Glen and Tony for the opportunity to join the club as goalkeeper coach.

"I'm still fairly young in coaching terms and the chance to work with these guys in the National League was something I couldn't turn down.

"I've spoken briefly to MJ, who I've heard good things about.

"I know it was a tough decision for him to leave Hitchin - his hometown club - and you can see from the reaction on social media how highly he was regarded there but he is an ambitious guy which matches that of the management team here and he wants to play at the highest level possible.

"I'm looking forward to working with him and helping him reach his potential."
