SOUTHEND United defender Harry Lennon is facing a fight to be fit for tomorrow’s trip to Walsall.
Lennon has been plagued by injuries during his first season with the Shrimpers.
And Blues boss Kevin Bond is unsure whether or not the centre-back will be available against the Saddlers.
“It’s an issue in his back but mostly in his groin,” said Bond.
“He was feeling it a little bit at half-time the other day and he’s struggled since so he hasn’t trained since the Wycombe game.
“In fairness to the guys I know they’re keen to help and not miss a game if they’re needed but we’ll just have to see whose fit.”
Lennon joined Blues in a deal believed to be worth £50,000 from Charlton Athletic in the summer but injuries have seen him restricted to just seven starts this term.
