Braintree Town manager Danny Searle will be heading to the Braintree Village retail shopping centre on Thursday to hand out free and discounted ticket offers for the Iron's Easter Monday home game.

The Iron will be concluding their home Vanarama National League fixtures when they host Dagenham & Redbridge at Cressing Road on Monday (April 22) and Searle hopes a bumper crowd will be there to cheer on his team.

The Bank Holiday action against Dagenham & Redbridge kicks off at 3pm.

The last two home outings have seen plenty to cheer about as Braintree have beaten top-ten side Gateshead and promotion-chasing AFC Fylde and they will be looking to sign off in style when they entertain the Daggers.

Searle said he would be at Braintree Village - formerly Freeport - on Thursday to hand out free tickets to under-18s and vouchers that will give discounted entry to adults for Monday's game.

He said he would be at the retail shopping venue from 11am and hoped plenty of people would take advantage of the offers to boost the crowd for the final home game of the campaign.

Following the game on Monday, the club will be making the annual end-of-season awards to players and Searle said he hoped as many fans as possible would remain after the match for the presentations on the pitch.
