COURTAULDS Halstead Bowls Club's B team are back in North West Essex League division two.
The B team travelled to Braintree knowing a good victory would secure a quickfire return from division three and they did that by capturing all three rinks to win 8-0 on points and 67-31 on shots to seal their promotion.
An early run of five consecutive end wins cemented the victory for Terry Bocking, Alan Monkman and skip Tony Jones as they won 19-13 and a dominant first half saw Tony Rivers, Mike Bristow and skip Whicker Clemence win 27-8.
Tony Wright, Ray Dawson and skip Bob Tuck also started spectacularly as they claimed the first six ends and closed out a 21-10 victory.
The B team's triumph sealed their move back into the second division after just one year in division three.
