The seniors finally managed to complete the third round of their Winter League series and the wait proved worthwhile for Roger Farson.
On a cold but dry morning, a field of 33 hardy seniors took to the fairways.
In third place, with an impressive 41 points, came ex-seniors captain Norman Stechman, just behind second-placed John Manser, who had 42 points.
However, no-one could match Farson as he returned a score of 43 points to claim top honours.
Nearest the pin on the par three 11th hole, with a piecing shot to 4ft, was Nigel Gaspar.
