Braintree Town's squad has seen one in and one out ahead of the Iron's FA Trophy second round tie against Stourbridge tomorrow.
Iron manager Danny Cowley has added 19-year-old midfielder Harry Anderson from League One side Peterborough United, while Braintree defender Mitch Brundle has headed out on a month-long deal.
Anderson has made seven appearances for Posh so far this season, including a start in their 2-1 win against Colchester United in August, but has not featured for the first-team since a trip to Port Vale in October.
Having started his career at Crawley Town, the youngster has made 15 appearances in total for the London Road side.
Cowley said earlier this week that if he was to get a player in on loan, his current budget situation meant one would have to go out and that has been the case as Brundle has gone out on a month's loan.
Brundle has made 19 appearances for Braintree this season.
He will spend the next four weeks at Vanarama National League South side Hemel Hempstead.
