Halstead Town manager Mark Benterman feels the return of Nick Miller will be like having a new signing on board for their trip to Great Yarmouth Town today.
The 29-year-old midfielder hasn’t played yet this season because of an Achilles problem, but is due to make a comeback as Halstead look to build on their Thurlow Nunn league division one win against Needham Market Reserves last weekend.
Benterman admits a timely week off has given his battered squad a chance to have a rest and he hopes to get some players back from injuries for the trip up to Norfolk.
But getting Miller back is a particular boost for the Town boss.
He said: “Nick Miller has been passed fit and that’s huge for us.
“He’ll be like having a new player for us.
“He is calm and collected on the pitch and is a great character to have in the dressing room."
