Halstead Templars Rugby Club are looking to bolster their ranks as they gear up for an exciting new stage of their progression as they enter the Eastern Counties League for the first time next season.
Last year’s third-place finish in Suffolk Merit Table division two earned the Templars a spot in Eastern Counties division three south.
It sees the Templars move into a harder division than they have experienced before, with most of last year’s Merit Table division one clubs awaiting the Templars.
With this in mind the club’s coaches have looked at areas that need improving.
Coach Barry Poulter said: “We have tailored pre-season training to suit this move and will cover various elements before we start the season.
“Hopefully a couple of friendlies will help implement the improvements the coaches are looking for as we move into the season proper."
