Halstead Templars Rugby Club’s players had a unique experience when they made a live television appearance on BT Sport’s Rugby Tonight show.
The appearance came about after Templars committee member Roger Wills contacted BT Sport and their players were invited to be the guest team for an episode of the weekly rugby show.
A total of 35 players, club members and fans made the trip to the studio in Stratford’s Olympic Park, with 20 of the Templars players dressed in full kit while others mingled with the audience dressed in club attire and rubbed shoulders with England legends Roger Uttley and Peter Winterbottom.

Templars are due to return to Suffolk Merit Table division two action today with their final home game of the season against Haverhill.
